"Why we choose Kunskap"
- now as an e-book
Kunskapsskolan is a leading provider of personalised learning - the strongest educational trend internationally. Students develop ownership of their learning by being allowed to have an influence over their time, progress and workplace in school. The purpose is to stimulate each person's motivation to learn and get more out of the time spent by students and teachers in school. How does it work? In "Why we choose Kunskap", Kunskapsskolan examines its own belief - that all people are different, even in school, and get to learn at their own pace and in different ways.
Today, Kunskapsskolan operates in Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. Approximately 12,000 students are attending one of more than 30 Kunskapsskolan secondary schools and upper secondary schools, which are open to everyone and tuition-free. The schools follow the curriculum of each country and grade student performance according to national standards. The academic achievement of Kunskapsskolan students is higher and they express more satisfaction with their schools than pupils at other schools. How is this possible?
Follow us on a journey to three countries in this book by financial journalist Cecilia Fällgren. Nine separate stories describe how students, teachers and parents are experiencing the personalised learning education. All of these people are different, but they have one thing in common: they choose Kunskap*.
"Kunskap" means learning or knowledge in Swedish
